This hotel is a lovely boutique option located just steps away from the main plaza in Merida. The surroundings are beautiful and the rooms are quite spacious, but street noise can be bothersome. The dining experience leaves a bit to be desired, and while the staff is helpful, the service could be more attentive. Overall, it’s a decent place for a short stay, especially considering the value for money.

Rooms

The suite we stayed in was clean, spacious, and well-furnished, boasting a good air conditioning system. However, the street sounds disrupted our peace, making it difficult to rest sometimes.

The location is fantastic, just half a block from the main plaza, making it easy to explore the historic center on foot.
Dining

Breakfast was quite basic, offering just fruit and yogurt, which I found a bit disappointing given the overall quality of the hotel.

The pool area is nice, though a bit small, and the beautiful courtyard provides a lovely atmosphere to relax.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly and the location right in the center of town was truly convenient. However, I faced major issues with noise coming from the streets which really disrupted my peace, along with some problems in the room that detracted from my stay. The food options weren't great either, leaving me looking for better meals outside the hotel.

The suite was large and clean, featuring good air conditioning and access to two balconies. However, the noise from the street made it hard to enjoy.

My stay at this hotel brought a mix of charm and some inconveniences. The historic building added an authentic touch to my experience, and the central location made it easy to explore Merida. However, the noise from the street was quite bothersome at times, and the dining options could use improvement. Overall, for the price, it was a decent stay with some unique qualities.

Rooms
6.0
The rooms featured high ceilings and a unique charm, but the comfort level was mixed with an uncomfortable bed and a tiny bathroom.
Service

The service was friendly, but language barriers made some aspects challenging, particularly when parking instructions were needed.
Location
9.0
The location was fantastic, only steps away from the main plaza and major attractions, making it perfect for exploring historic Merida.
Dining

While the breakfast options were limited, the courtyard dining experience was lovely; just keep an eye out for potential extra charges.
Facilities

The pool and bar area were fantastic and added a nice touch to the hotel experience. However, the parking situation could be clearer.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Merida with stunning views. The room was comfortable and had a nice balcony, but the street noise disrupted the peace quite a bit. While the staff was accommodating, I found the tour service to be misleading, resulting in extra costs. Overall, there are great aspects like the ambiance and food, but I wouldn't recommend their tours.

5.4/10

While the hotel has a few redeeming qualities, like the charming décor and spaciousness of the rooms, my experience was marred by significant issues including noise disruption and plumbing problems. Despite its appealing features, I cannot recommend staying here due to the overall discomfort and poor management response to concerns.

Rooms
6.0
The rooms are quite spacious with high ceilings and old wooden doors that add charm. I particularly liked my small balcony where I could see a bit of the cathedral. However, the street noise was disruptive, and I had to deal with inconsistent water supply across two days.
Service
5.0
The management was unhelpful when it came to addressing my complaints about the room conditions, which added a frustrating element to my stay. I felt like my concerns weren't taken seriously.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location is fantastic, with everything within walking distance including dining options and the main city square. It's perfect for exploring the area.
Dining
5.0
Dining wasn't great. The food quality did not meet expectations, and outside the hotel, there are far better options available.
Facilities
5.0
While the hotel has some nice common areas, general maintenance and cleanliness need serious attention.
